- The tournament is open players who qualified during FSL Dota 2.
- Participating players must be currently residing in SEA and Oceania.
- Participating players must be female.
- Transgender females are allowed to participate in the tournament if they are able to provide valid documentation as proof that they have completed their transition. Valid documentation include, but are not limited to passports and / or national identity cards

- Registrants are required to submit their Facebook profile links and pictures during registration. The organizing committee reserves the right to use the registrant’s pictures for tournament marketing purposes.

- Hosting & Lobby Settings
- Lobby hosting will be done by a game admin. The teams receive the password from the admin about 30 minutes before the match time in Discord. At least one member of each team has to be present at that time and to pass on that information to the other members of the team.
- Participants are not allowed to pass the password on to anyone but the other members of her team
- Only the game admin, official broadcasters, anyone authorized by an admin, and the ten players are allowed to be inside the game. Team managers may join the lobby, but have to leave before the game starts.
- Server Location will be set to Singapore unless both teams comes into consensus on a different server with a valid reason.
- Choosing Side and Pick. Choosing Side or Pick is made by Automatic coin toss. (If the automatic coin toss doesn’t work, we will manually pick it)

- Coin Toss Winner chooses pick or side / opponent chooses from the remaining options.
- Best of Two
- Game 1 – Coin toss winner chooses pick or side / opponent chooses from the remaining options.

- Game 1 – Coin toss winner chooses pick or side / opponent chooses from the remaining options.
- Game 2 – Coin toss loser from game 1 chooses pick or side / opponent chooses from the remaining options.
- Game 3 – New coin toss; winner chooses pick or side / opponent chooses from the remaining options.

- Game mode
- Game mode will be Captain’s Mode. The hero pool always consists of all heroes the game mode allows in the current patch and might therefore change several times during the league. The game must not be paused during the draft, unless a drafter disconnects.

- By attending the competition participants acknowledge without limitation to comply with the rules and regulations, official announcement, and with the statements and decisions made by the referees.
- Every participant acknowledges the right for the administration to modify the rules and regulations for adjustments at any time without notice.
- Every participant has to show the needed respect towards referees and other participants. Insults and unfair or disrespectful behaviour towards anyone are not tolerated and will be punished. Disrespectful behaviour occurring during a game will result in the following:

- First Warning that the team captain has to acknowledge
- Second Warning will lead to forfeiting the game
- Third Warning will lead to disqualification from the tournament
- In case of extraordinary circumstances, the referee may decide to abstain from the punishment.

- Every participant must always have the newest version of Steam and Dota 2 installed and has to check for updates in time before each match. Unless a new version comes out right before the match, patching is not a valid reason to delay it.
- Every team accepts the official schedule of the competition and declares its ability to be available during these times.
- Every team and participant has to try to win every game at every stage of the competition. Purposefully losing for any reason is strictly forbidden.
- If requested, teams and individual are required to cooperate with interviews, reporting, video shootings and other activities planned and organized by the organizers. Teams also agree to allow the organizers to use their team logos or pictures for promotional purposes.
- Organisers have the right to use player’s video, audio and visual materials in non-commercial production and event materials.
- Impersonating a player, match fixing, cheating and any actions that compromises the integrity of the match will result in the nullification of all gained points and immediate disqualification from the tournament.
- Ingame names must not be offensive, and each player has to have his official information set up (competitive profile). This includes submission of Game ID and/or Player ID. Every player has to be correctly marked as a member of the team.
- All players are required to record footage of themselves playing during the tournament. A camera, webcam or mobile phone camera can be used for this purpose. The footage must include the Player’s face and hands playing during matches and the Player’s monitor / screen during matches.
- Qualified teams are required to attend the opening ceremony, prize giving ceremony, and other related activities including but not limited to interviews, video shooting, exhibition games, and offline activities.

- Roster Size
- The maximum roster size is 8. This consists of 5 players, 2 subs and 1 coach.
- Coach will be allowed during drafting phase only.
- Coaches should be coaching only one team.
- Stand-ins are not allowed.
- Organizer will only provide travel and hotel for up to 6 people.
- Lineup Changes
- Teams are not allowed to change players and accounts mid-series unless of emergencies. A series is a BO2 or BO3 (IE. 2 matches or 3 matches)
- Team members can be removed anytime as long as at least five members are left. To request a removal, the captain or manager of the team or the affected member himself has to contact an admin about it.
- A new member can only be added during the competition, if he hasn’t played a game for another team inside the competition. To request an addition, the captain or manager of the team has to provide the administration all additional information requested.
- If any data about the team needs to be changed, the captain or manager of the team can request this towards an admin at any time. If any data of a specific team member needs to be changed, the participant or his captain or manager can request this towards an admin at any time.
- Player account must be in good standing and players are not allowed to change accounts throughout the league.

- Pausing & Disconnecting
- Each team is given a total of 10 minutes to pause the game. If a player announces it at least three seconds in advance and calls a coherent reason (exception: not necessary, if someone disconnects).
- If a player disconnects, the game is to be paused instantly, and will count towards the allocated 10 minutes pause time. If the total amount of pause time has reached 10 minutes, the opposing team may continue the game. The affected player is in this case still allowed to rejoin later on.
- The game must not be resumed before both teams agree with it.

- Match-fixing
- The definition of match fixing is when two or more players have reached an agreement, accepting any form of benefits, conducting an illegitimate match and trying to manipulate the results of the match.
- Players and/or teams found to have been match-fixing will be disqualified. Participation in future tournaments may be compromised.
- Bug & Hacks
- If any serious bugs occur, the game has to be paused immediately and the administration decides how to continue. Knowingly abusing a bug is strictly forbidden. Any team/member that is caught exploiting bugs will face disqualification of the whole team from the league.
- The usage of any third-party software that provides unfair player advantage during a match is strictly forbidden. Any team caught using these tools will be disqualified from the league.
- Ending
- A game is finished, when an Ancient Fortress is destroyed, when the majority of a team leaves on purpose, or when the administration decides on it.
- If a team calls “GG” using the All Chat chat wheel or types “GG”/”Good Game” or anything similar, without intending to forfeit the game, the team will receive a warnings stated in point 3.

- Remake
- Teams may not remake after the 1st creep wave has spawned or after
- 1st blood has been spilled.
- Tiebreaker
- In a case when 2 teams have equal points for the 4th position, tiebreaker match will be played/compare head to head result.
- In the event where there are more than 2 teams who have equal points for the 4th position, tiebreaker is solved in the following way
- Head to head results. If this reduces the number of teams tied or splits them into 2 groups of ties, re-apply this rule until it does not produce anymore result.
- Tiebreaker games to be played
- Tiebreakers format: best-of-one round-robin matches. If tiebreakers cannot determine a winner, additional tie breakers will be played. After any round of tiebreakers (but not before the first), admin may declare that the next tiebreaker round will use time rating.
Time rating:
– (Time of longest lose) minus (Time of fastest win)
– The team/s with the highest result/s go to the next round.
– So, your task is to win as quick as you can and to fight as long as you can before you lose.
- Dispute
- In the event of a dispute, players are required to submit the respective footages to the organizing committee / admin team for review. Failure to do so will result in a forfeiture of that match.
- The primary communication platform is discord. Players are required to join the official Flight of the Valkyries Discord server and to be inside the allocated voice channels for the teams at all times during the tournament matches.

- Every team accepts the official schedule of the competition and declares its ability to be available during these times. Failure to turn up for matches results in a forfeiture of that match.
- The official schedule of the competition will be announced on the official FSL channels and/or on the competition’s website. The teams will also be informed about it via discord. This schedule includes the time of each match which represents the start time of Game 1 of the match.
- The change of a match time is only possible under exceptional circumstances and has to be confirmed by the administration.
- Teams are allowed to request to swap time of matches with other teams at least 3 days prior to match day. Requests of swaps are subjected to consent by teams involved and approval by the administration.
- If a delayed end of a previous match prohibits a match to start on schedule (due to either one of the involved teams still playing or the official broadcaster still streaming the previous match within the same tournament), the match time is changed to 5 minutes after the end of the previous match.
- Teams and players must be in the lobby 10 minutes before start to decide sides/first pick. Draft will not proceed unless all 10 players are in the lobby.
- Unexpected issues for one single player are not a valid reason to postpone matches.
- If a team is not ready to start a game in time, the following punishments will be applied by the referee:

- 5 minutes late => Level 1 Draft Penalty
- 10 minutes late => Level 2 Draft Penalty
- 15 minutes late => Level 3 Draft Penalty
- 20 minutes late => Forfeit of the game (not the whole match)
- X minutes late means that the team is not ready to start until X
- minutes after the official start time of the game.
